This beautiful Silver "Chakana" Pendant is handmade by the Artisans of Peru. The Silver Pendant is intricately inlaid with segments of Mother of Pearl. The Artisans have carefully cut each puzzle piece by hand and carefully embedded it in the silver bezel. The Andean Cross Symbol referred to as "Chakana" is a sacred symbol of the ancient Inca civilization. It represents the four corners of the Inca World, the four directions and the four organizing principles of the universe. The Open design creates an elegant look and measures just over 1-1/4" in length and 3/4" in width. The bale moves freely with a opening of 3mm, allowing it to look great on both beads or silver chains. Coming with a Peruvian woven pouch!
