The Paua shell from New Zealand, is one of the most vibrant colored shells known for its natural hues of Purples, Blues and Greens, reflecting and capturing the light and colors that surround it. Hand-cut and bezel set, the shell cradles the "Koru" or swirl design that continues to the ear. The Koru symbol is a sacred symbol from the New Zealand Maori of rejuvenation, new life, continual energy, eternity and good luck and protection.
