This beautiful intricate  "Chakana" Pendant is handmade by the Artisans of Peru.  The Pendant is intricately inlaid by hand with segments of  natural Chrysocolla often called Peruvian Turquoise, Mother of Pearl and Spiny Oyster.  The Andean Cross Symbol referred to as "Chakana" is a sacred symbol of the ancient Inca civilization and four are on top of eachother..  It represents the four corners of the Inca World, the four directions and the four organizing principles of the universe.  The length measures 2.25" and .75 in width. The bale is 4mm  in its opening and looks great both on beads or silver chains.
