A beautiful pair of Silver Spiny Oyster Earrings handmade by the Artisans of Peru. The "Sacred Flower of Life" design can be found throughout history around the world. A symbol of Sacred Geometry as well, it is thought to depict fundamental aspects of space and time. Multiple small pieces of purple Spiny oyster from the coastline of Peru, have to be intricately hand-cut before they are inlaid into the bed of sterling silver, an art known to the Sacred Valley. 3/4" in width, the shell set flower is suspended by a post with a 5x6mm pear of Spiny Oyster and butterfly clasp. The rich natural purple is flattering both in color and in size as they dangle accenting the face.
