A beautiful ring handmade by the artisans of Peru. The "Sacred Flower of Life" design can be found throughout history around the world. A sacred symbol of Sacred Geometry as well, it is thought to depict fundamental aspects of space and time. Multiple small pieces of purple and orange Spiny oyster from the coastline of Peru, Peruvian Turquoise (Chrysocola,) Sodalite, Mother of Pearl, and Coral surround and even smaller Chakana in the center of the ring.  The Andean Cross Symbol referred to as "Chakana" is a sacred symbol of the ancient Inca civilization.  It represents the four corners of the Inca World, the four directions and the four organizing principles of the universe. The stones have to be intricately hand-cut before they are inlaid into the bed of sterling silver, an art known to the Sacred Valley.  The ring is a size 7 and the face of the ring is .65" across.
