This elegant pendant features a 22x28mm hand-carved red Cinnabar heart and is accented with a 5x9mm faceted Garnet pear. Usually red or black in color, Cinnabar dates back 3,600 years to China. It is actually resin from the Chinese lac tree, dried and used in the artistic medium of engraving. The Cinnabar has been backed in Mother of Pearl Shell.
