Bloodstone (aka: Heliotrope) is typically a combination of Jasper and Chalcedony. It is usually dark green Chalcedony with "blood" spots of Red Jasper or iron oxide. This stone is thought to aid in decision making and can stimulate dreaming and heighten intuition! Garnet is another amazing stone that can be worn for protection against injury and helps the wearer to express love. This pendant features a 26x35mm Bloodstone capped in 925 Sterling Silver as well as a bezel set checkerboard cushion of Garnet (7x9mm). The piece is 2" long. It was designed by Marianna and Richard and handmade by Balinese Artisans.
